Come join our local Salida Gateway Community trail ambassadors for a Pride on the Divide hike Thursday June 22nd @5-8pm.
Location: Marshall Pass Trailhead. Participants will meet to carpool at the Walmart on US-50 at 4pm, then head to the trailhead where they will hike north along the Continental Divide Trail for an out-and-back evening hike of approximately 5+ miles round trip. (Note: It takes a approximately one hour to drive from Salida to the trailhead.)
No experience is necessary for this hike, but there may be snow or other obstacles this early in the season. Hikers will be headed towards the base of Chipeta Mountain and Mt. Ouray before turning around. Sign up below!
Remember to dress in layers, bring sunglasses, water, and a snack. Always prepare for changing weather conditions in the mountains! Dogs are allowed on this stretch of trail.
