From Shell/McDonalds head northeast on Main St. toward Sandoval Blvd. (0.3 miles), turn right onto
NM-126 S for 2.9 miles to Eureka Mesa Rd, turn left and travel for 1.8 miles to meeting location.

Project Description
Project work will consist of closing a livestock trail and reroute hikers back to CDT, brushing, removal of
obstructions (loose rocks, branches, debris, litter, etc.), cross cutting (if needed/blowdowns). Some tread
work may be needed in some areas to better expose the trail route. This work will be done from 10am –
1pm with a BBQ at 1pm – 2pm. Following lunch/BBQ a short community hike/story sharing will be
conducted by CDTC Regional Rep. Corey Torivio.
NOTE: No more than 3 miles of trail maintenance from trailhead should be exceeded
